I know that 3 happened more recently than 1 because 3 is an intrustion and it cuts through 1

I know that 1 happens more recently than 6 because 1 is a layer on top of 6

I know that B is more recent than 2 because it is a fault and it is before before two because you can see that 2 is split in two pieces

I know that 2 is before 5 because 2 is an intrustion and it intrudes in through 5

I know that 5 is before 4 because you can see that if you shifted the fault back to the way it was at firs, 5 happened prior to 4 because it would be on top of 4. 

Age of the Earth

Geologists have started to understand that the earth is older than 6000 years. There are so many layers in the rocks, and with these layers is shows that there are more than 6000 layers of rock. Also, with places like the grand canyon, it takes millions of years for formations like that to form. They understand that there is no way there is only 6000 years in the earth. The layers in the earth go down for many many miles. People who believe in uniformitarianism think that geologic change takes place slowly and over a long period of time.
